En este taller aprenderás las nociones básicas necesarias para diseñar tus prendas de punto paso a paso: desde hallar las medidas correctas y cómo usarlas, medir la muestra y utilizarla para encontrar el conteo de puntos y vuelta hasta adaptar el diseño para ajustarlo a las diferentes tallas.

Sandra también te explicará las ventajas y desventajas de distintas construcciones de prendas y cómo usar Excel o Google Sheets durante el proceso del diseño para calcular la cantidad necesaria de lana según las diferentes tallas.

Durante la clase, podrás trabajar a partir de una muestra que debes tejer previamente.

Material necesario:

Calculadora, regla, libreta y lápiz, acceso a Excel o a un programa similar.

Conocimientos previos:

No se requieren conocimientos previos de diseño. Pero se recomienda haber hecho al menos una prenda antes de asistir a este taller.

Deberes:

• Hacer una muestra en el punto escogido de al menos 15 x 15 cm.
• Tener pensado el tipo de prenda que se quiere diseñar.

¿Cómo funcionan los talleres y charlas online?

Barcelona Knits 2021 cuenta con un programa de talleres y charlas online de punto de media y ganchillo impartidos por reconocidos diseñadores nacionales, internacionales e influencers del mundo de la lana.

A partir de finales de septiembre, podrás consultar el programa de talleres online y el panel de talleristas y reservar tu plaza.

Utilizaremos Zoom como plataforma para las clases virtuales. Sólo necesitarás un ordenador o un dispositivo móvil con cámara y micrófono. Te recomendamos que compruebes la calidad de tu conexión, los horarios, idioma en que se imparten, el nivel y los conocimientos previos que necesitas.

Una vez empezado el taller, ya no podrás acceder. Por este motivo, lo mejor es que te conectes 10 minutos antes y te asegures de que el link funciona correctamente.

In this workshop you will learn the basics needed to design your knitted garments step by step: from finding the correct measurements and how to use them, measuring the swatch and using it to find the stitch count and yarn count to adapting the design to fit different sizes.

Sandra will also explain the advantages and disadvantages of different garment constructions and how to use Excel or Google Sheets during the design process to calculate the amount of wool needed for different sizes.

During the class, you will be able to work from a sample that you must knit beforehand.

Required materials:

Calculator, ruler, notebook and pencil, access to Excel or similar software.

Required techniques:

No previous knowledge of design is required. But it is recommended to have made at least one garment before attending this workshop.

Homework:

• Make a sample in the chosen stitch of at least 15 x 15 cm.
• Have thought about the type of garment you want to design.

How will the online workshops and talks work?

Barcelona Knits 2021 counts with a program of workshop and online talks of knitting and crocheting taught by well known national and international designers as well as by influencers of the world of wools.

From September, you will be able to see the program of online workshops and the workshop facilitators list and book your seat.

We will use Zoom as a online-class platform. You will only need a computer or a mobile device with a camera and a microphone. We will recommend you to test the quality of the connection, the schedules, the language in which they are taught, the level, and the required previous knowledge.

Once the workshop starts, you won’t be able to access it. That’s why we recommend you to join 10 minutes before and to make sure that your link works properly.
