En la primera parte del taller, Laura explicará la teoría para el diseño de prendas. Empezará con la elección de materiales, tipos de puntos y sus características, muestra, número de aguja, medidas, construcciones y cómo afecta a la forma del escalado posterior y, por último, cómo realizar cálculos para el escalado. En la segunda parte, a partir de la muestra que lleven las personas que participen y mediante varios ejercicios, se pondrá en práctica la teoría. Para ello, se utilizarán dos construcciones básicas: hombro caído y caída modificada. Se planteará también sisa y cuello, además de cómo comenzar las mangas en circular desde la pieza.

Con la teoría podrás saber cómo se ha diseñado el patrón y podrás usarlo como guía para sus propios diseños.

Conocimientos previos: Nociones básicas de ganchillo y saber tejer cadeneta, punto bajo y punto alto. No es un taller para quienes nunca hayan probado el crochet.

Material necesario: Hilo de grosor DK y ganchillo para el hilo elegido.

In the first part of the workshop, Laura will explain the theory for designing garments. She will start with the choice of materials, types of stitches and their characteristics, sample, number of needles, measurements, constructions and how it affects the shape of the subsequent scaling and, finally, how to make calculations for scaling. In the second part, the theory will be put into practice on the basis of the sample taken by the participants and by means of various exercises. Two basic constructions will be used: drop shoulder and modified drop. Armhole and neckline will also be discussed, as well as how to start the sleeves in circular from the piece.

With the theory you will be able to know how the pattern has been designed and you will be able to use it as a guide for your own designs.

This workshop includes:

• 1 finished pattern
• 1 Guide to consult what has been taught
• 1 Theory notes to get you started in crochet garment design.
• 1 Mini version of the garment to design

Previous knowledge: Basic knowledge of crochet and how to do chain stitch, single and double crochet, increases and decreases.

Required material: DK weight yarn and crochet hook for the yarn of your choice.
