Tejer cables es como dar forma a una escultura en punto. Los cables tridimensionales son una gran fuente de inspiración y divertidos de tejer. Esta clase magistral de punto con cable te enseñará a: tejer cables con una, dos o sin agujas; a leer y comprender las abreviaturas y las tablas; a cambiar la anchura y la largura de los cables; a terminar los cables en el cuello y en los hombros; a corregir un cruce de cables incorrecto; a tejer prendas reversibles y divertidas.

Además, aprenderás consejos muy útiles. Cuando hayas aprendido a tejer cables, podrás hacer los tuyos propios. Verás varios de mis diseños y podrás conocer fuentes para tejer cables.

En este taller aprenderás:

• Cruces de cables con una o dos agujas pasacables
  
• Cables sin aguja
• Abreviaturas y gráficos de cables
• Cambio de cables tanto en anchura como en longitud
• Terminar los cables en el cuello y los hombros
• Corrección de cruces de cables
• Cables reversibles

Conocimientos previos: Se requieren conocimientos básicos de punto: tejer del derecho y revés, montar y cerrar puntos con agujas circulares. 

Material necesario: 

• Agujas de punto entre 3,5 mm /US 4 y 6 mm / US 10
  
• Hilo adecuado para las agujas seleccionadas en colores claros
• 2 agujas de tricotar de diferentes colores / 2 cable needles in different colours
• Aguja de ganchillo
• Marcador de puntos

Knitting cables is like shaping a sculpture in knitting. Three-dimensional cables are a great source of inspiration and fun to knit. This cable knitting master class will teach you how to: knit cables with one, two or no needles; read and understand abbreviations and charts; change the width and length of cables; finish cables at the neck and shoulders; correct an incorrect cable crossing; knit reversible and fun garments.

In addition, you will learn useful tips. Once you've learned how to knit cables, you'll be able to make your own. You will see several of my designs and learn about sources for cable knitting

In this workshop you will learn:

• Cable crossings with one or two cable needles

• Cables without a cable needle

• Cable abbreviations and charts

• Change cables both in width and length

• End cables at neck and shoulder

• Correction of cable crossings

• Reversible cables

Previous knowledge: Basic knitting knowledge is required: knitting purl and purl, assembling and closing stitches with circular needles.

Required material:

• knitting needles between 3.5 mm/US 4 and 6 mm/US 10

• suitable yarn to selected needles in light colours

• 2 cable needles in different colours

• crochet hook

• stitch holder for swatches
